Our medical bill review ensures that medical and ancillary services invoices are received with supporting documentation sufficient to substantiate the billed charges and to enable prompt payment to the provider of service.

Patriot National generates both savings and efficiencies for their clients by providing medical bill review, the application of appropriate fee schedules, UCR and utilization review audits.

Patriot National Insurance Group has partnered with MCMC (Managing Care, Managing Claims), a corporation that provides medical bill review services, dedicated to adroit claims evaluation and processing including, but not limited to, the following:

• Nurse Audit Review
• Fee Scheduling and UCR Audits
• Applicable Network/PPO Discounts

This customized bill review process allows us to provide proprietary processing of medical bills and cost containment services to our clients.

​Recruits, credentials and contracts a select group of ancillary service providers apart from our medical providers who are responsible for an array of medically necessary services, supplies, equipment and rehabilitative care and services. Additional services include:

• Durable Medical Equipment
• Physical and Occupational Therapy
• Transportation and Language Services
• Vocational & Functional Rehabilitation Assessments
• Home Health Care (Wound Care, IV Therapy, Personal Care, etc.)
• Home and Vehicle Modifications
• Applicable Life Care Plans and Medicare Set-Asides

​Preparation of approved network provider “Welcome Kit Panels” are coordinated and mailed to all new and renewed policyholders of Patriot National Insurance Group. The packet includes an introductory letter identifying descriptive services and appropriate contact information. Panels are provided for each demographic area of insured’s affiliate locations, which include the following specialties:

• Walk-in Medical
• Facilities/Urgent Care Facilities
• Hospitals & Emergency Care Facilities
• Orthopedic Physicians

Our Policy Services staff is available to assist our insured with any additional inquiries and to determine if a particular preferred provider is in any of our networks. Policy Services and respond to requests by our client to pursue contracting and credentialing of a requested provider.
